Teaching UK students since 2020.
All ten subjects
Maths, English Language and Literature, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Religious Studies, Spanish and History. Each subject links to its own page, with the learning focus and course details to consider before arranging a trial.
Foundation and Higher tier, from the algebra that loses people in Year 9 to A-Level calculus. Lessons work through past paper questions with the tutor watching the working rather than only the answer.
Language and Literature, both papers. Poetry comparison, the Shakespeare extract, unseen texts and the creative writing section that most students write off as unteachable when it is the most teachable part of the paper.
All three sciences in one course, which is where students most often fall behind in one and let it drag the whole grade down. Includes the required practicals and mark scheme analysis, not just content.
Separate Biology or the Biology half of Combined Science. The exam rewards precise language more than general understanding, which is why students who feel they know it still lose marks.
The quantitative topics are where Chemistry grades are actually decided. Moles, bonding, energetics and equilibrium get taught properly rather than skipped in favour of easier content.
Waves, forces and electricity are where most students come unstuck, usually because they can rearrange the equation but cannot picture what is happening. Taught with worked examples rather than formula sheets.
The theory paper and the practical coding pull in different directions, and most students are comfortable with one and frozen by the other. Taught by people who write code professionally as well as teach it.
The twelve mark evaluation questions carry most of the paper, and students routinely answer them as description instead of argument. That gap is the whole job, and it is a teachable one.
Build confidence across speaking, listening, reading and writing. Lessons focus on the student’s Spanish course, with guided practice in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and exam-style tasks.
Turn topic knowledge into clearer written answers. Lessons work on causes and consequences, sources, interpretations and supported judgements, using the student’s chosen topics and course requirements.
Subject by level
All ten subjects are listed for GCSE. The existing eight subjects also run at KS3. Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and Religious Studies run at A-Level; Physics and English depend on tutor availability. For Spanish or History at KS3 or A-Level, ask us to check coverage before booking.

Specifications
Our existing subject coverage includes AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and Eduqas, depending on the course. Send the exact specification before booking. For Spanish, include the tier if known; for History, include the school’s chosen topic options and exam year.
Send us the course name or the specification code from the front of an exercise book or a past paper, and we will identify it before lessons start. Parents very often do not know, and it takes us a minute to check.
Some tutors also cover IGCSE and O-Level, which is listed on their individual profiles.
SQA qualifications such as National 5 and Higher, and CCEA specifications, are not part of our standard coverage. Contact us before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we have somebody who can help with your specification.
We would rather say no at the enquiry stage than take a booking and teach the wrong course.
If your subject is missing
Spanish and History are now listed for GCSE. If you need Geography, Psychology, another language or a qualification not shown here, contact us first. We will check whether a suitable tutor can support the exact course before arranging a booking.
Tutors join through recommendation and the list changes. If we have somebody suitable we will say so, and if we do not we will tell you rather than putting a generalist in front of your child.
Send us a messagePlenty of families run Maths with one tutor and Science with another. Some tutors cover both Maths and English together. Either way it is the same £30 a lesson.
See pricingFunctional Skills Level 2 Maths and English for apprenticeships and college places, plus November and summer GCSE resits in Maths and English.

Maths, English Language and Literature, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Religious Studies, Spanish and History. All ten are listed for GCSE. The existing eight subjects also run at KS3, with A-Level coverage shown in the table. We also teach Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English for adults.
Yes. Both subjects have their own GCSE tutoring pages and a free 30-minute trial. For Spanish, send the exam board, specification and tier if known. For History, send the exam board, chosen topic options and exam year so we can match the tutor to the actual course.
These subjects are not part of the list on this page. Contact our team with the qualification and support needs before booking, and we will check whether a suitable tutor is available.
No. Every subject and every level is £30 a lesson, dropping to £27.50 on a term plan and £25 on an annual plan. An A-Level Chemistry hour costs the same as a KS3 Maths hour, which is not true of most agencies.
Yes, both, and the tier is part of how we match a tutor. A Higher tier student aiming for a 7 needs different teaching from a Foundation student aiming for a 5, and putting them with the wrong tutor wastes everyone's time.
Yes. Some families run two subjects with two different tutors, and some tutors cover two subjects themselves. Maths and English together is the most common combination. It is the same rate per lesson either way.
Yes. Separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics each have their own tutors and their own pages, and Combined Science is covered by tutors who teach across all three.
Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and Religious Studies run at A-Level with specialist tutors. A-Level Physics and English depend on who is free that term. Spanish and History are currently listed here for GCSE; ask us about other levels before booking.
No. We start at KS3, so Year 7 upwards. If you need primary support we would rather point you elsewhere than take the work.
Free 30-minute trial
Send the year group, the subject and what is going wrong. We will put forward one tutor who teaches exactly that, and set up a free 30-minute trial before anything is booked.
