Several parents mentioned a specific grade change. A Grade 4 to a Grade 7 comes up three separate times, in Maths, Physics and across a GCSE term. One student passed Functional Skills Level 2 Maths inside two months.
Worth saying plainly: these are four individual results that parents chose to write about, not an average and not a promise. Plenty of students move less dramatically, and some subjects shift more slowly than others. What these do show is the sort of thing that happens when a student sticks with weekly one-to-one lessons for a term or more.

Two grades higher than predicted
"RS remote tutoring, we could not thank you enough with our daughters GCSE Maths tutoring sessions. Raja has been very attentive, spent time explaining and put every effort to support with topics my daughter was struggling with. This helped greatly with her overall confidence in the subject. Danai's point is the one we'd underline. The reason one-to-one costs more than a revision video is that a student can stop and say they don't understand, in the moment, without an audience. That's the whole product.

Read thirty-five reviews in a row and the same four things keep surfacing. None of them is "cheap", which is telling.
Confidence before grades
Mali'ika and Shabana Khan both wrote about confidence in Maths going up before they mentioned anything about marks. Charlotte Chunawala said the tutors gave her daughter confidence in the same breath as the 7-7. Sarah Black also said Raja's support greatly improved her daughter's confidence before she achieved two grades higher than predicted. Parents tend to spot the change in how their child talks about a subject weeks before it shows up on a report.
Explaining it a different way
Charlotte's phrase was that the tutors explain in a way her daughter could understand. Kadijah, on Bark, wrote that her son doesn't feel anxious getting an answer wrong because the topic gets explained again until it lands. Subject knowledge is the easy half of tutoring. This is the other half.
Past papers and homework
Imran raja was specific about it: past papers and short homework, with everything properly explained. Natasha's Bark review mentions homework and parent updates too. Lessons are built around the exam the student is actually sitting, which is why past-paper work shows up so often.
The same tutor, week after week
Shaman, Harleen and Raja get named repeatedly across different families and different years. That's what continuity looks like — nobody is being passed between tutors, and the person teaching in month six is the person who taught in month one.
