What can I download?
Two resource sets are live. Four lesson notebooks teach the course in 51 chapters, and four exam practice books give structured practice in eight modules each. Everything comes with worked answers.
Lesson notebooks
Number, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, and Statistics. Each chapter explains the idea, works through two examples, sets a guided reasoning task and finishes with four practice questions and worked answers.
Exam practice books
One book for each area of the course. Every module has 45 numbered questions that move from core skills to course-standard challenge, with marks shown on every question and a scorecard for planning retests.
The National 5 exam
- Paper 1 is non-calculator: 40 marks in 1 hour
- Paper 2 allows a calculator: 50 marks in 1 hour 30 minutes
- A formulae list is provided in both papers
- The course is graded A to D
