The honest case
How do you judge a tutor from a listing?
You mostly cannot, which is why choosing locally is harder than it looks. A profile tells you someone teaches Maths. It rarely tells you whether they know the Higher tier paper, whether they have taught your child's board, or whether they are any good with a student who has stopped trying.
Specialists, not one tutor for everything
A single local tutor often covers Maths, all three sciences and a bit of English. We have fifteen tutors for Maths alone, five for Chemistry and five for Physics, so your child gets somebody whose actual subject it is.
Somebody else does the judging
Rather than reading twenty profiles and guessing, you tell us the subject, tier, board and what is going wrong. A person reads it and puts forward one name with the reasoning. If we get it wrong, we look again for free.
Two children, two subjects, one evening
Siblings in different year groups needing different subjects is the situation local tutoring handles worst. Online, two tutors can teach on the same evening in the same house with nobody driving anywhere.
The trade-off, stated plainly: nobody comes to your house. If your child genuinely needs a person physically in the room, a local in-person tutor is the better answer and we would tell you so rather than take the booking.

What does it cost in Birmingham?

Are your tutors based in Birmingham?

Do you have an office or centre in Birmingham?
