What can I download?

Both tiers are live, with four lesson notebooks each: Number, Algebra, Geometry and Measure, and Statistics and Probability. Every WJEC content heading is taught in two chapters, and every chapter ends with practice and worked answers.

Foundation tier

Grades C to G4 notebooks54 chapters

For units sat at Foundation tier. Each content heading gets a core concepts chapter and an applications chapter, with worked examples, a guided reasoning task, practice questions and worked answers.

Higher tier

Grades A* to D4 notebooks54 chapters

For units sat at Higher tier. The same chapter structure, with Higher-tier teaching added, such as stratified sampling, histograms, conditional probability and set notation.

In England?

The Double Award is examined only in Wales. Schools in England that use WJEC sit Eduqas GCSE Maths, which is graded 9 to 1 and has its own exam-question books and lesson notebooks.

How the Double Award is examined

The qualification is worth two GCSEs and is sat in three exam units. Each unit can be taken at a different tier, and the results combine into one double grade, from A*A* to GG. Our notebooks are organised by content area, so each unit draws on several of them.

More is on the way. We are working day and night on carefully researched guides and resources built to genuinely move grades, and we have decided to share everything here free, so every student can use them and push for their best result, whether they study with us or not.

Need more than practice?

Free books do the practice. A tutor fixes the method

Fifteen of our tutors teach GCSE Maths, including three qualified teachers. Lessons are one to one on Zoom, £30 each, and the first 30 minutes are free with no card details.
