What can I download?
Two resource sets are live. Four lesson notebooks teach the course in 64 chapters, and five exam practice books give structured practice in eight modules each. Everything comes with worked answers.
Lesson notebooks
Number, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, and Calculus, 16 chapters each. Every chapter explains the idea, works through two examples, sets a guided reasoning task and finishes with four practice questions.
Exam practice books
Algebraic Skills, Functions and Graphs, Trigonometry, Vectors and Geometry, Differential Calculus, and Integral Calculus. Every module has 45 numbered questions with marks shown and a retest scorecard.
The Higher exam
- Paper 1 is non-calculator: 55 marks in 1 hour 15 minutes
- Paper 2 allows a calculator: 65 marks in 1 hour 30 minutes
- A formulae list is provided in both papers
- The course is graded A to D

Higher is a separate Scottish qualification taken after National 5. It is not the same as GCSE Higher tier. Need to strengthen your foundations first? Start with our National 5 Maths resources.
