GCSE tutoring in Chelsea
£30 an hour in Chelsea, and no London premium
In-person tutoring in west London is priced for travel, for local demand and often for an agency's cut on top. We charge the same £30 a lesson in Chelsea as we do in Carlisle, because none of those costs exist when the lesson is online.
One to one, live on Zoom, with a free 30-minute trial before anything is booked and no registration fee at any point.
No card details for the trial. Change tutor at any time, at no cost.

- KS3, GCSE, A-Level and Functional Skills Level 2
- Maths, English, the Sciences, Computer Science, Religious Studies

What we do not

- residential or live-in tutoring
- 11-plus, common entrance or independent school admissions

If you need one of the things on the right
A specialist London agency will serve you better than we would, and we would rather say that than take a booking we cannot honour. What we are good at is one to one subject teaching for KS3 to A-Level, taught online at a flat rate.
The honest case
Why is it so much cheaper?
Because three of the costs built into west London tutoring do not exist online. Nobody travels, nobody rents a room, and there is no agency taking a share of what you pay. What is left is the tutor and the hour.
No travel priced in
An in-person tutor crossing London for a single hour is committing two or three, and the rate reflects it. That is entirely reasonable of them and it is money that buys your child nothing.
No agency margin
Premium London agencies typically charge a registration fee and take a share of every lesson. You pay us directly for the lesson, with no joining fee, no minimum block and nothing between you and the tutor.
No postcode multiplier
Rates in central London are set by local demand rather than by teaching quality. A tutor in Chelsea is not automatically better than one in Leeds, and online you get whichever suits your child rather than whichever lives nearby.
The trade-off is real and worth naming: nobody sits at your kitchen table. If your child specifically needs a person physically in the room, a local in-person tutor is the better answer and we would tell you so.

Across west London
Where our London students are
Chelsea and the boroughs around it, though it makes no practical difference. Lessons are online, so a family in Battersea gets the same tutors and the same rate as one on the King's Road.

What families say
Does it work?
Three reviews from families we have taught, quoted as written. None of them are from Chelsea, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The service is identical wherever you are, which is rather the point of it being online.
"Excellent tuition. Resulting in my son going from a 4 in mocks to 7 today!"
"My daughter just got 7 7 in her combined science GCSE. She was failing science until she started learning with these tutors. They explain in a way she could understand and they gave her confidence."
"I took a chance in selecting RS Remote Tutoring, to help my daughter who was struggling with GCSE math and English and I'm so happy I made that choice. The tutors are reliable and professional. They also were very relatable to my 15 year old."
Individual results that particular parents chose to write about, not averages and not promises. All 34 reviews are on the reviews page, unedited.
Common questions
Questions from London families
Anything not answered here, message us and we will tell you straight. We usually reply within minutes.
Is £30 really the whole price in Chelsea?
Yes. No registration fee, no agency commission, no minimum block booking and no London premium. £30 for a 60-minute one to one lesson, dropping to £27.50 on a term plan and £25 on an annual plan. The exam entry fee, if you need one, is paid to a school or exam centre rather than to us.
Do you offer in-person or home-visit tutoring?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise for the sake of a booking. Every lesson is delivered live on Zoom. If your child specifically needs somebody physically in the room, a local in-person tutor is the better answer.
Do you offer residential or live-in tutoring?
No. That is a genuinely different service and a specialist London agency will serve you far better than we would.
Do you prepare for 11-plus, common entrance, SSAT or ISEE?
No. We teach KS3, GCSE, A-Level and Functional Skills Level 2. Independent school admissions and US admissions testing are outside what we do, and taking that work would not be fair on your child.
Are your tutors based in London?
Some are and some are not, and it makes no difference to the lesson. Your child is matched with the best suited tutor from all 39 rather than whoever lives nearby, which is the main advantage of teaching online.
Why is it cheaper than local tutoring?
Three costs disappear. Nobody travels across London for a single hour, nobody rents a room, and there is no agency taking a share of what you pay. What is left is the tutor and the hour, which is the part that helps your child.
Do you cover Fulham, Battersea and Kensington?
Yes, along with the rest of west and central London. Because lessons are online there is no catchment area, so where you live makes no difference to availability, tutor choice or price.
What if the tutor is not the right fit?
Tell us and we will rematch at no cost. You do not lose lessons, restart a plan or pay a fee. With 39 tutors there is genuine room to find somebody better suited.
